Dear best friend!

I miss you, my companion,

The one I used to know

The laughter and the memories,

That made our bond aglow.

We talked for hours,

And shared our hopes and fears

A bond so strong,

That lasted through the years.

But now we're apart,

And it's hard to pretend

That everything's the same,

When I miss my friend.

I look at old photos,

And I smile and I sigh

I wish we could go back,
