SGA holds first committee meetings of semester, introduces various project areas

After the prior week contained the first senate hearing of the semester, the evening of Wednesday, September 19 hosted the first Illinois Tech Student Government Association (SGA) committee meetings of the fall 2018 semester. Traditionally, these committee meetings are designed as time for senators to meet with their individual committee heads and make progress on their various projects, as well as being structured timeslots for newcomers and volunteers to the organization to also meet with and possibly collaborate with the elected members.

Held on the afternoon of Friday March 6 in the Hermann Hall Ballroom, the semesterly President and Provost Forum offered students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to participate in a discussion with the heads of university administration - President Alan Cramb and Interim Provost Russell Betts. Illinois Tech Student Government Association (SGA) Executive Vice President Adeena Ahmed moderated the event, stepping in for SGA President Morgan Peters.
