Navy Pier is one of Chicago's top tourist attractions that everyone should visit. On the shore of Lake Michigan, it is lively during all seasons of Chicago. You can expect fireworks, cruise parties, music, and dancing. During the summer every Wednesday and Thursday night, you can expect a firework display from 9.30 p.m to 9.45 p.m. Almost all Chicago people gather around this place and watch the fireworks. There are so many places and experiences you can get at Navy Pier such as rides and games, cultural attractions, museums, outdoor adventures, and food and drinks. There will be a huge amount of people on the weekends, Saturday especially during the summer season. The giant wheel is around 200 feet from the ground. It is one of the best rides I have ever had.
From the Navy Pier lake shore, you can see Chicago's skyline: one of the amazing views in Chicago one can get. The picture is of the shot I took from Navy Pier focusing on Chicago's skyline. People used to see the skyline by sitting in the giant wheel. On long weekends you can walk around the tail of the pier which is around 1.5 miles. People used to bring their dogs and spend their evenings in and around the pier. Around those 1.5 miles, you can find a nice place to sit down and have food with your family or friends.
People also go for boat tours. You can have different types of boat tours such as tourist cruises or dinner cruises. If you want to experience a fast boat trip, take the Sea Dog boat. Sea Dog also offers a tour which has lake views where you can see Chicago's skyline.
There are many places that you can spend time with your family members in Navy Pier Park such as the Remote Control Boats, Carousel, Teacups, Pepsi Wave Swinger, and Tower Ride. All these places are the best to make your mind peaceful.
I would recommend everyone to come and visit Chicago’s Navy Pier in the summer season and have a great time here.
