“The World’s Most Amazing Vacation Rentals” is a Netflix original show that will take you around the most stunning vacation rental spots of all sizes, big and small to give you the tastes of luxury, art and affordability. A vacation rental can be a fully furnished apartment, a villa, or an island that is rented out to tourists as an alternative to hotels. The world vacation rental market is valued at $87.09 billion in 2019 and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.4% from 2020 to 2027 according to a report by Grand View Research. Millennials are apparently the major factor boosting this Industry according to a report published by Airbnb as this demographic appreciates a vivid and an authentic experience which is usually cheaper compared to hotel stays.

This show has three hosts: Luis, Megan and Joe each have their own focal points around the theme of the episodes. Luis is a licensed realtor and he picks the luxurious options for the set theme mostly consisting of a house on top of a cliff or an entire private island! Megan is a DIY designer and she introduces the concept of affordability in the show picking out budget-friendly rentals, and Joe is a dancer turned influencer who unravels some of the most unique properties which most often times than not are also quite pocket friendly. Each episode is an architectural treat to the eyes with breathtaking views and a bunch of expert tips and tricks from the trio. The itinerary usually includes walking the audience through the history of the rental and its features and cost, followed by a tour around the famous attractions and activities around the property.  First season features 24 properties from $20 beds in Bali to a five-digit luxury stay in Hawaii, all of which you can visit by making online reservations. With Covid-19 restricting and sabotaging most of our travel plans in the past couple months, vacation rentals can be an excellent way to blow off steam on a budget. The second season of the show came out recently and it features a rental as close as it gets, here at Two Rivers, Wisconsin designed by Frank Lloyd Wright which he created to be a dream home for a middle-class American family which you can now rent out as a vacation getaway. This show would most definitely give you a case of wanderlust as it takes you around the most unique and indeed amazing vacation rentals from around the world and in Luis’s words make you say “What a Life!”
