Sam's Somewhat Somber Short Sonnet (1)

I wonder if she ever stays up late at night

Lost in dreams of how things could have been different

A future not so dim but instead a bright brilliant light

Maybe it is only me cause of my mind so bent

I miss her short hair, running fingers through

A beauty with more warmth than a thousand suns

Wishing I could go back and get it all renewed

But negative actions made all hope of anything done

Now I waste away looking through old photos

Of screenshots and conversations that I want to relive

But like parallel lines, we don’t meet. Its over

I do anything to have it back. The things I would give

I just live with all my disgrace

Mind is empty of all but her face.
