Yes, you guessed it right. I am talking about pyramids. And where are pyramids famous? Egypt of course. The pyramids themselves are a wonder of architecture considering the timeline they were built in and given the types of engineering tools and skills the ancient Egyptians had access to. And not to mention, the pyramids were not just built for every person.

Over a thousand of ships and airplanes have vanished in the last 100 years without leaving any traces or even capturing anyone's imagination. They are disappearing in the Bermuda triangle - an area of a great mystery. The Bermuda Triangle refers to the region in the Atlantic Ocean that includes Florida, Bermuda, and Plutodica. It covers 1,300,000 square kilometers, and it is sometimes referred to as the "Devil's triangle". 20 ships and four airplanes go missing each year in the Bermuda Triangle. No one can figure out how the ships are disappearing, which makes it a mystery. Even now, people have no idea if the cruisers drown or collapse. Thousands of disappearances have occurred here up to this point. However, five incidents were particularly prominent in the public eye.

The word "desire" doesn't necessarily refer to a desire for money. Instead, it is the basis of one's resolve and motivation to finish a task. You must therefore possess these two traits, consciousness and awareness, in order to realize and fulfill your goals. Consciousness is nothing more than thinking that you are capable of accomplishing something. Everyone on the planet possesses this "Consciousness," which explains why, despite our differences in language usage and other areas, we all share some traits. A person with this "Consciousness" has the capacity to make discoveries or create new things. Consciousness is hence a necessity and a quality to have for finishing or accomplishing a task. The next is "Awareness." Nearly all early men used to flee from forest fires to save their lives, but one brave man grasped the power of "Fire" and realized that, with proper care, it could be utilized to warm their bodies during the winter and even be used to cook food. Thus, they gained control over the fire and added it to their arsenal of skills. Similar to this, regardless of all our goals and consciousness, the instant we begin to consider how we may use things to our advantage and the benefit of those around us is the time we become "Aware." Therefore, "awareness" can make our life and the lives of those around us more helpful.

The term "Yoga" comes from the Sanskrit root "Yuj," which means ‘to join’ or ‘to link’ or ‘to yoke’ or ‘to unite’. Yoga is a tradition that has its roots in ancient India and focuses on physical, mental, and spiritual practice. By bringing the individual ego and global awareness together, the practice strives to achieve unity of the body mind, and spirit. This type of unity has the effect of neutralizing ego-driven ideas and behaviors, resulting in a sense of spiritual awakening.

Nothing could be more fascinating than a group of girls experiencing the culture and wandering around an unfamiliar land. We are five girls from the southern region of India who traveled to Guwahati in the northeast of the country with the hope of having the experience of a lifetime. I have to say that it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

With the seemingly inevitable automation of the future, there are often two camps of thought.  On one hand, there are the optimists.  Optimists often note that robots have replaced the most dangerous jobs, and have even taken us to ever further stretches of space that we have yet to be able to survive.  However, with the optimists comes a fair share of pessimists.  There are worries of robots slowly taking our jobs, leading to ever increasing unemployment.  These are valid concerns, but I argue that they aren’t inevitabilities.

The man behind this operating system is Linus Torvalds, a Finnish-American software engineer. Linus started programming at 11 and got his Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Helsinki. As part of his studies, he worked on Unix OS and felt that some features were in need of optimization. Thus, in 1991 he started a personal project called Linux that could fix the issues he faced with UNIX. The first version of his project was released on September 18, 1991, titled “Linux 0.01”. Linus was a firm believer in the open-source community. In order to allow interested programmers to share ideas and improve the project, he published the whole code repository after releasing the first few versions. In no time at all, developers started building custom features, and Linux gained prominence among open-source developers.

‘Healthy habits are your heart’s desire.’ is a quote I came across recently that seems to resonate deeply with me, given the current overindulging lifestyle followed by people. Masses have constantly overlooked the importance of a healthy nervous system, heart in particular, and are getting involved in physically deteriorating practices for momentary gratifications. Hence, this World Heart Day, I would like to chime in and enlighten the readers on the origin and purpose of this day, as well as minor lifestyle changes one can implement to maintain a well-conditioned heart.
