Another semester and another midterm exam, I genuinely wonder why do these exams exist. Do they train me to solve the problems of the world or do these train me to take exams in the organization I am going to work in? If the whole purpose of these exams is to improve your knowledge then why don't we take exams every day?

Being a grown up brings a lot of freedom. Everything depends on our choices and we are solely responsible for how we make our decisions between our given options. Though we are free to choose, with a great amount of freedom comes great responsibility as we need to decide what is good for us and what’s not.

Fortunate are the ones who are with their families and loved ones at this moment. My experience here has been a roller coaster with so many twists like in a thriller movie. I have been away from my home before during my undergraduate degree back in India. But in India, I could visit my home whenever I wanted, relish the tasty mom-cooked food every day. Since August 2019, I have been in Chicago and haven't visited my family so far, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and other circumstances.

  • Effect of Indian politics on the Current Youth

India is a country of many interesting titles, but one of the aspects it boasts the most is that it a country of the youth, as 65% of the population is below the age of 35. Yet, it has been noticed that the voice of the youth is the most suppressed. Often hearing things such as, "You are not old enough to know better." or, " You are just saying that because you are going through a rebellious phase.", is something that has become the norm, as though the opinions of the younger generation are a topic of mockery.

Thinking suspicious elderly guardianship as a distant matter, you may find a horrifying fact that it is a common social injustice happening across the U.S. There are hundreds of guardian scam U.S. courts cases filed, accounting for millions of dollars of assets shifted from the elderly to so-called legal guardians. “I Care a lot” on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video might be a good fictional reference for this cruel reality.

If someone asks me what was the most important part of our human body, I would immediately answer it as the brain. Without a healthy mind, anyone could be easily directed to destruction in their lives. One might argue everyone has a healthy mind as they mature with age. It is not true, our minds get the least exercise once we cross the college phase in our lives. I don't blame us, but the nature of our commitments such as work, family, etc. keeps increasing over the years and we hardly find any time to read books. No matter how hard we work out in gyms, a dedicated frequent workout is a necessity for having a superior mind.

I am a huge fan of quotes and I'm not sure why. Even if I had to assume, they'd be condensed experiences that remind us but we're not the only ones to get through those feelings or circumstances. They are chunks of knowledge which have been extracted from many other past situations that can correlate with our own experiences or motivate us to step in those directions.

    Mar 01, 2021
As the temperature plunged to arctic levels around Austin, the electricity demand for heat across the state was soaring. But soon the green dots on the Cineplex-sized screen started flipping to red. Each of these dots represented a regional power generator and they were shutting down. The frequency of 60 hertz is needed for stable electricity flow on the grid. Below 59 and the state’s electrical system would face cascading blackouts which would take weeks or even months to restore. Texas was seconds and minutes away from such a catastrophe.

Firstly, there are those that want to keep everything the same, as they believe the iPhone should not change- not with software updates and not even with the home button removals. Secondly, there is us, the bring-on-the-changers, we fear absolutely nothing, we don't even fear the disappearance of a headphone jack.
